PENINSULA, Ohio — Nickel Plate Road 2-8-4 No. 765 will return to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for six days in April and May as part of the “Steam in the Valley” series of excursions, the heritage railway has announced.

The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society’s 1944 Lima locomotive is set for excursions on April 25, 26, 27 and May 2, 3, 4. Complete details are still to come. Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad members will get early access to tickets on Feb. 3 at 9 a.m.; tickets will go on sale to the public on Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. Those interested in becoming members can do so here.
